Way Of Thinking
Thought Process
noun
考える means "to think," right? Well, the way you think is your way of thinking. In other words, it's your thought process.
This word uses kun'yomi readings for both kanji. You learned the かんが reading with 考える, but かた wasn't the main reading you learned for 方, so here's a mnemonic to help you remember it:
Your way of thinking is like a catapult (かた). You just launch ideas at the wall and see what sticks. Sure it's a bit inexact, but it's the best thought process for you. The catapult way of thinking just suits you!
