Green tea is green tea.
緑茶 technically refers to all kinds of green tea (i.e., non-oxidized teas). But in everyday Japanese, the word usually means green-colored tea made from leaf infusions, typically sencha.
This is a jukugo word that uses the on'yomi readings of the kanji. You haven't learned the りょく reading for 緑 yet, so here's a mnemonic to help you out:
You love your green tea so much that you lock (りょく) it up in a safe in your house. No one's getting to that green tea except you — it's kept under strict lock and key at all times.
