納得 means understanding and accepting something fully, both intellectually and emotionally. It's used in everyday Japanese when someone finally agrees with an explanation or feels convinced after thinking about it.
This reading for 納 is pretty weird, so here's a mnemonic:
Imagine someone you know being convinced by your explanation, but only after they say "Nah (なっ)! Nah!" after every point you make. Eventually you get their consent and understanding on things, but only after they say "nah!" a million times.
