When you look at something versus something else, you compare them with one another. You look at the contrast between them and make a comparison.
This is a jukugo word, which usually means on'yomi readings from the kanji. If you know the readings of your kanji you'll know how to read this as well.
日本の生活とアメリカの生活じゃ、いい対比にならないよ。
