Service
Serving
noun, verbal noun
Dedicate yourself to doing something, and you are performing an act of service. Whether you're serving a specific community or society as a whole, you should feel good about how selfless you're being.
奉仕 is work done for the benefit of others without thought of compensation, like volunteer work, community service, or devotedly serving a particular person or organization. It's different from サービス, which usually describes customer service, commercial services, or something given to a customer "on the house."
This is a jukugo word that uses the on'yomi readings of the kanji. You should be able to read this on your own.

今年の夏休みは、老人ホームで奉仕活動をしました。
This summer vacation, I did volunteer work at a nursing home.
「少しでも社会に奉仕したい」と思って始めた仕事でした。
I started this job because I wanted to give back to society, even if only in a small way.
一か月後には、少し奉仕の精神が分かってきた気がしました。
After a month, I felt like I was beginning to understand the spirit of service.
その話を父にしたら、「じゃあうちでもいろいろご奉仕してもらおうかな...まずは皿洗いからどう?」と言われました。いや、そういう意味じゃないから!
When I told my dad about it, he said, "Well then, maybe you can perform some service around here too... How about starting with the dishes?" Hey, that's not what I meant!
