Remember how 傷 is "wound"? Now a wound is つくing to you, or in other words, is getting attached to you. If you get a wound attached to your body, you are probably going to get hurt.
The reading is the same as the word 傷.
おばちゃんって呼ばれる年齢かなあ。傷つくなあ。
Aren’t I too young to be called a middle-aged woman? I’m hurt.
