Bathroom
noun
Remember how you learned that 風呂 means "bath?" Well the place you take a bath in is the bathroom!
Note that this word means "bathroom" in the literal sense — it's not a word for "restroom."
This word consists of the jukugo word 風呂 and the kun'yomi reading for 場. You didn't learn the kun'yomi reading for 場 with the kanji, so here's a mnemonic to help you remember it:
You step into the bathroom and hear an angry chorus of baas (ば). You're mortified to find that you've accidentally entered the side of the public bath reserved exclusively for sheep. You rush back out, bowing and baaing apologies.
風呂場で滑ってお尻の骨を折りました。
I broke my butt bone slipping in the bathroom.
