Mood
Feeling
noun
The energy that's a part of you at any given time is reflected in your mood, aka your feeling. What kind of energy is part of you right now? Good mood energy, or bad feeling energy?
気分 refers to someone's mood or emotional state, and sometimes to how they feel physically. You'll hear it when people describe how they're doing in the moment, like 気分がいい (I feel good), 気分がわるい (I feel unwell), or 気分がのらない (I'm not in the mood).
This is a jukugo word, which usually means on'yomi readings from the kanji. If you know the readings of your kanji you'll know how to read this as well.
