You know 果 means "fruit," but remember how 実 could mean "fruit" too? Well, a fruit fruit can only be one thing: a fruit.
果実 is a relatively formal word for "fruit," often used in botanical classification contexts. You'll see it on labels like 果実酒 (fruit liqueur), but not as much in everyday conversation (there's a more common word for that you'll learn later).
This is a jukugo word, which usually means on'yomi readings from the kanji. If you know the readings of your kanji you'll know how to read this as well.
