Life
Living, Daily Living
noun
If 暮らす is "to live" or "to live one's life" then the noun version would be simply life.
The reading is the same as 暮らす. However, 暮らし often gets stuck on the end of other nouns, like 田舎暮らし (country life), so watch out for rendaku when that happens.
テクノロジーは人々の暮らしを大きく変えました。
Technology has greatly changed people's lives.
日々の暮らしに感謝することを忘れないようにしています。
I'm trying not to forget to be grateful for everyday life.
田舎暮らしは退屈だよ。でもさ、都会での暮らしは便利だけど、ストレスも多いよね?
Rural life is boring. Then again, city life might be convenient, but it comes with a lot of stress too, right?
