Emotion
Feeling
noun, の adjective
Feeling, and more feeling… You're full of emotion! (Unsurprisingly, this can also mean feeling.)
感情 is a more formal, objective-sounding word for human emotions — things like joy, anger, sadness, fear. Compared to 気持ち, it feels less personal and more like you're talking about emotion as a category or state.
This is a jukugo word, which usually means on'yomi readings from the kanji. If you know the readings of your kanji you'll know how to read this as well.
私は感情のコントロールがうまく出来ません。
I can't control my emotions well.
すごく感情がこもった歌い方だね。
That's a very emotionally charged way of singing, isn't it?
感情に流されすぎてはいけないよ。
You shouldn't let your emotions get the best of you.
