To Bear Fruit
To Come To Fruition, To Ripen
intransitive verb, godan verb
You might remember 実 means "truth," but it can also mean fruit! That's why this verb vocab version means to bear fruit or to come to fruition.
実る literally means to ripen, but it's mostly used figuratively to describe when hard work leads to results, like in the phrase 努力が実る (effort pays off).
This is a verb, so it uses the kun'yomi reading. You didn't learn that reading with the kanji, so here's a mnemonic to help you out:
Your experiments have finally started to bear fruit. You've fully turned yourself into a minotaur (みの)! Your long-term ambitions of turning yourself into a minotaur are finally beginning to come to fruition. All hail our new minotaur overlord!
まさか、この恋が実るなんて!
I can't believe this love has come to fruition!
今年もたくさんのオレンジが実りました。

先生、長年の努力が実りましたね!
Teacher, your many years of effort have finally paid off!
