North America
proper noun
You already encountered アメリカ in the previous level, so you should know that it means "America." Put north in front of this and you get North America, just like in English!
Note that 北アメリカ refers to the continent of North America, as opposed to the northern part of the USA. アメリカ on its own usually means the USA, but when it has "north" or "south" in front of it like this, it's always referring to the continents.
You might be tempted to read this using the on'yomi readings, but this actually uses kun'yomi. You learned that reading with the kanji, so you should have no problems reading this!
カナダは北アメリカにあります。

これって北アメリカの川ですか?
Is this river in North America?
北アメリカの山でキャンプをしました。
I went camping in the mountains of North America.
